Before the program begins, incoming International MBA students participate in International Welcome Week, scheduled for the last week of August. This week combines informative and interactive sessions, fostering a sense of community for students who may be studying and living in Canada for the first time. By participating, you’ll be better prepared for life in Canada, allowing you to focus on your program without the added stress of adjusting to a new school, city and country.
Once you complete your Full-Time MBA or MBA with Co-op program, you can apply for a 3-year Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), as long as you meet all other eligibility criteria. Graduates from eligible Canadian designated learning institutions (DLIs) could obtain an open work permit to gain valuable Canadian work experience. Graduates meeting specific eligibility can work while awaiting a decision on their post-graduation work permit application.
Eligibility criteria can be found on the IRCC section of canada.ca. Immigration Policies are at the discretion of the IRCC and can change without notice.
