Blended Learning Part-Time (BLPT) MBA

Hybrid delivery combines online course content with weekend in-person residencies at our Burlington campus. This is a a convenient and flexible approach to an MBA. You’ll have the chance to apply your knowledge at the same time as you work on gaining ground in your career.

Hybrid Delivery: 3 in-person weekend residencies per term
Work Experience Required: 4 years post-graduate work experience
Mirroring the structure of a professional work environment, you’ll collaborate, share ideas and leverage the diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives in your cohort.
Embracing the demands of your existing schedule, half of the program is offered virtually, featuring live webinars. The rest of the program is offered over three weekends per term at the Ron Joyce Centre campus in Burlington, Ontario.
Work-integrated assignments mean you apply MBA coursework in real-world contexts, drawing from your personal career experience. In your final year, you’ll collaborate within a team to address authentic business challenges in partnership with industry leaders.

Over nine academic terms, you will learn from a community of leading researchers and world-class instructors and develop the skills you need to accelerate your career.
This semester based, blended learning format provides you, your family and employer the flexibility necessary to fit your busy schedule.
The first year aligns with our full-time MBA curriculum but is customized for working professionals. You’ll immediately apply the concepts you learn to your career.
In-class sessions are delivered over three mandatory residency weekends each term, where you will develop strong relationships with your peers and leverage the diverse skills and experiences of your cohort through collaborative learning and assignments.
Residencies are held from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday three times per semester. There are no residencies during the months of December, April, and August.

In the second year, you’ll delve into intermediate courses covering accounting, finance, marketing and operations. These courses build upon your first-year knowledge. You can also choose electives tailored to your career goals and interests.
During third year, what you’ve learned so far, your professional experience and our key program features are all brought together in the strategic innovation project.
